How You Can Easily Cook Frozen Hash Browns In 15 Minutes


Golden hash brown potatoes are an essential part of every breakfast. Moreover, brunches with family wouldn’t be complete without crispy and spicy hash brown potatoes. Step 1: Shred the Potatoes:

For shredding, you can use a box grater or food processor. But using a food processor with shredding disc attachment is recommended. As it creates a uniform and longer strands as compared to a box grater.


Step 2: Rinse the Potatoes:

To make crispy hash browns, soak the potatoes in the water for some time. So, they can release some starch. Less starch in the potatoes will not only avoid the raw center but will also make it crispy.


Step 3: Dry the Potatoes:

If you don’t want soggy hash brown, then squeeze the potatoes well. Because to make them crispier, it is necessary to remove the water. Squeeze them at least 2 to 3 times.


Step 4: Seasoning:

To make your hash browns taste better, season them with kosher salt. You can use one tablespoon of kosher salt or a half tablespoon of table salt for seasoning.


Step 5: Fry the Potatoes:

To cook hash browns, melt butter in a pan and add shredded potatoes in it. And cook them without burning them. Cook them until they start sizzling. And you should use a non-stick pan for cooking. Because non-stick pan will allow an even browning of potatoes without tearing. And this is what you need.

Additionally, if you have frozen potatoes, just make a patty and cook them for about 5 to 7 minutes until they get brown and crispy. Cook from both sides and serve them immediately.
