Making your favorite coffee cake is healthy, and it tastes more delicious than store-bought cakes. The store-bought cakes are not fresh every time and also contain artificial flavors. But the homemade cake always tastes better. That is why we have mentioned a recipe to make coffee cake.
Recipe Name: Coffee Cake

Ingredients:
170 grams of butter (unsalted)
Three eggs
170 grams of castor sugar
170 grams of self-raising flour
One tablespoon of instant coffee (in one tablespoon hot water)
For icing:
100 grams of butter
230 grams of icing sugar
One and a half tablespoons of coffee (in one tablespoon hot water)
Strawberry jam
Walnuts
Cherries
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Take a bowl of an electric mixer and add sugar and butter to it.
Now take an electric mixer and whisk it on medium speed. Keep mixing until you get a fluffy and homogeneous mixture. The mixture will be of pale color.
Now take a mug and add the eggs to it. Whisk the eggs for a few minutes.
Now add the eggs gradually to the mixture. Make sure you add a few tablespoons of flour too.
Now whisk this mixture again until everything combines. Then, add the rest of the flour and coffee mix. Mix everything. Fold it in gently.
Now take two cake makers or sandwich maker shaped-bowls. Butter the bowls and add the mixture to them.
Place them into the oven and let them bake for 25-30 minutes or until the sponge rises.
When the sponges are ready, take them out and let them rest for about five minutes. Know that you also freeze these cake sponges for a few months for further use.
On the other hand, prepare the icing of the cake.
Take a bowl. Add icing sugar and butter to it. Whisk until you get a light and fluffy icing mixture. Now add the coffee mix and whisk again.
Now it is time to assemble everything.
Place one cake sponge and apply the icing and strawberry jam on it.
Now place another sponge and apply more icing on the top. Make sure you coat the outside of the cake too.
Now decorate the cake with cherries and walnuts. You can also garnish your favorite fruits on the top if you like.
Let the cake chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Cut the cake into slices and serve.
